Power Scale
As people might wonder, this scale is for measuring the power of any and all abilities, be it Kido, Zanpakutou abilities, Cero, etc. They are separated into ten different variations of power levels. The first level is the weakest, but the next one from that is two times stronger. The next one after that is two times stronger than the previous, and so on. As they are two times stronger each time, the amount of points needed to increase them by one level doubles as well. You can't have an Average ability or spell at level three if you don't have it also at level three at Weak and Feeble. To increase a power level to a higher level, the others before hand must be of the same level you're trying to get. You can't have an ability at a power level of Vast at level five if you don't have a power level of Powerful at a level five, and to have a power level of Powerful at level five, you have to have a power level of Strong at level five too, and so on. To clarify about Kido spells, while it is well known that a number fifty spell will be a lot stronger than a level five spell, take into consideration the different power levels and use your best judgment. A number five at a Ruinous level of strength is going to probably be more powerful than a number fifty at a Weak level of strength. It also depends on the Kido level of the person using the ability, so please decide for yourselves at those particular times.
Important Note: You are allowed to transfer points from a power level to a higher one above it if and only if doing so does not increase it beyond a level it can't be. I'll give you an example: say you have a spell at a power level of Average at level 10. To me, that tells me you can use that ability for longer periods of time at that level, but it will always be of an Average power level for that number of times. This tells me that you have enough reiryoku for multiple uses at that power, but you might not have it focused enough to give it a more destructive punch. If you move a few points from an Average power level, decrease its level down, and add those points to increase Strong by one level, you've now focused your power into a more destructive force. The power level determines the strength of the technique, the level itself determines how likely you are able to use it a number of times. Under that note, it's generally a good idea to add points to get to the next power level, rather than just adding points to increase its level. When you put points into the power levels above, previous levels of other power levels don't mean much if you're always using a power level that's higher. If you want to use the same technique, not at its strongest but at a different power level, do some mental math or figure it out manually how many times you could use it at that power level.
I will make the following very clear. When posting your training threads, do not put all of your points into lower power levels, and then expect in the middle of a fight later on to match someone's spell by redistributing the points of your spell in your head. Move your points as far up as to your highest power level, and figure it out from there on your own. If I find out someone is trying to claim their spell is stronger than another, and all of their points are stacked into a lower power level, while the other person's is at a higher one, I'm not going to be nice. When it comes to this, I'm going to call what happens, and it's going to happen like so. I will give only one warning, and be done with it. If it happens again, I will put the person on suspension from the RP. They'll still be able to get on the site, but they will not be allowed to RP.
On a happier note, in the middle of a fight, please make it clear on the side what power level and level of the technique, ability, or spell you are using at that particular moment. This way, it eliminates the confusion over how strong something is.
